End of the Year

Happy Holidays to all who celebrate! As we come to the conclusion of this year and prepare our resolutions for the next year, I want to share with you some points that can help you reflect on this final week of 2020. I understand that 2020 has had its challenges, but what year hasn’t? You are the person who has control over your life (Not the news, government, parents, friends, etc.) I think sometimes we forget that we have the power to overcome our challenges and strive for the future we dream of. That is why in this blog, I want to share with you a few points that you should keep in your mind this last week of 2020 so that you can have an even better year in 2021.

If you blame this year for all of its hardships, then these following points can be the key to not leaving anything on the table this coming year.

  • Surround yourself with people who are smarter than you so that you can grow and learn from them. Just being around people who can motivate you to be more will help you aspire to reach those same heights or even greater ones.

  • Say yes to opportunities that you would often say no to (Say no to substance abuse). Those opportunities can help you grow in life and give you skills that will one day be of benefit for future growth.

  • We, as people are attracted to the negative more than the positive. Be sure to take time to learn how to find the positive in any situation. You will notice how your life begins to change for the better.

  • You have great power to give to the world. You are a unique miracle, yes, but that is not enough to have the life you want. You will find people who are better at things than you, and that is not an invitation to make them your rival. Understand that you are far from done when it comes to learning and growing as a person. Yes, we should treat each other as equals, but where you should separate yourself from others is your work ethic.

  • Be sure that you strive to be the hardest worker in any room. If you find yourself constantly in a room where you are always the hardest worker, then it’s time to find a new room. Growth should be constant, so if you are not in an environment that will promote your growth, then find one.

All in all, I want you to understand that this year has been a reflection of you. Pandemic or not, this has been the best year for my business. Yes, I had to pivot at the beginning of the quarantine, but I did not allow that hurdle to define my year. I know that in 2021 I will have an even better year because that is was I believe. I want you to have that same mindset. You can achieve great things even if the world is drenched in chaos. Your peace is internal, and you do not need to let the outside world have control over you. So when you are writing down your resolutions for next year, I want you to make yourself a promise. That promise is not to repeat weakness. If you did not meet your goals or gave up on a resolution midway into the year, then I want you to fortify your constitution for growth and greatness.

The end of this year is the time to assess the progress you have made. If that was little to none, then make sure not to repeat it in your life. I tell my clients that if they take a day off, then I understand, but if they go a whole week and do not handle their business, then I have a problem. You cannot give away your weeks, months, and year like you have an endless amount. We have only so much time left to leave our imprint on this Earth. The great news is that you do not have to be rich or famous to reach that goal. You have a purpose of achieving with your time alive, so make sure that you give your best effort to fulfilling that. It might not be easy, and there will be days when you want to give up, but do not hesitate. Be great and be powerful in your days and treat each one as the one that will change your whole life around for the better.

Enjoy the last week of the year with all your loved ones, and I will see you in 2021!

Until then,
