The Steps to Change Your Destiny

Life is a journey, and we are all on different paths. Some find themselves on the right staircase, leading them to success, fulfillment, and happiness. However, most people must be more fortunate to be on that path. Many are stuck on the wrong staircase, living miserable and unfulfilled lives, desperately hoping for a way out. They yearn for a change in their circumstances but lack the necessary skills, discipline, knowledge, and mindset to make that shift.

If you find yourself on the wrong staircase, fear not, for it is never too late to change your destiny. Though many prefer to avoid starting over or turning around, it might be the best action. Simply looking at your past will help you see which turn you took that led you astray. I do a process similar to this to find out where in life you made a choice that led you to where you are today.

Not every choice you make will be a result of your clairvoyant thinking. Often, our thinking will be skewed for several reasons. Some of those reasons include knowledge, upbringing, schooling, peers, mentors, etc., to name a few. Any outside stimulus can affect our internal stimulus and creation of mindset. That is why sometimes our choices might not reflect what we truly desire.

One of the best ways to know if you are on the right path is to write out your goals. This simple process comes with many hidden factors that the average person will miss, but if you are working with a coach, you will be introduced to all the factors of goals and what they mean to you. For example, have you ever wanted something to eat and need to know what you wanted? That was me this morning, and I worked through figuring out what I wanted just as I would a goal.

When you write out your goals, you must want them as much as you want a particular food you crave. If you were still deciding where we would eat, some food types until I found the one you might be interested in. Do you want pizza? You will say no. I will ask again: How about hamburgers? Again, you will say no. I could give up at this point since you must not be hungry, but the reality is that you are hungry, just not clear on what you want to eat.

Eventually, I will nail what you are interested in. Let’s say we will eat seafood. When I say what my heart wants but my mind cannot figure out, it will give me a new feeling, which is shared when I find a goal I want to do. Something happens in our mind when we create and go after goals we attach meaning to. We develop our purpose.

Our purpose can be pinpointed with goals and aspirations, but it will come down to whether we have the mindset and discipline to make it to the finish line of our goals. Most people love to find out what they want to do. Doing all the work to eliminate all the outside stimuli to find your truth should be enough for a person to take action, but even that is not enough.

They say that we are born two times in life. The first time is when we are born into this world. The second is when we find out the purpose for why we have been born. This can be a mix of goals and purpose, but it all comes down to mindset and discipline at the end of the day. For example, you may have a purpose for starting a business making clothes. You love to make clothes but doing all the work is a turn-off. The goal or purpose is not the issue; it is the mindset.

The mindset we need is not comfort or love but taking action. When you find and give yourself a goal, the primary way to get to them is to take action. If you take no action in your days towards your goals, then your goals will one day become hidden from your view. This is why many people have a difficult time finding their purpose. This is where destiny resides.

On the journey toward destiny, you will face many challenges, even though the staircase should be straightforward. Today, touted as the norm, that straightforward process is to go to school, get a job, and work until you are 65. This aspect of success and life has been given to you by the system and powers to be. The only thing this brings is deferment to your destined life.

Many people think they will find happiness and fulfillment if they follow what they are told. Everyone wants big homes, fast cars, and millions in the bank. Money can make your life easier, but it will not guarantee it will improve your life. I know this to be the case because my millionaire clients have the same issues regular people have on top of the fear of maintaining the lifestyle they created. They have more problems than I do, even without all the millions.

We must understand an aspect of the staircase to our destined life: it will take time. This will be increasingly more difficult if you have a fixed or scarcity mindset. The issue is not that you have the mindset, but rather you are unwilling to apply patience and persistence to change your situation.

We live in a world where people want it fast and now. Instant gratification has become the norm, and as long as you want things fast and are not willing to put in the work, success will always be limited to what you are willing to do and how long you are ready to wait for it. This is not to say you should take zero action, and success will eventually fall into your lap. Think of it as you are about to climb a staircase. The only way to get to the top is by taking a step at a time.

Those steps are symbolic of the actions we must take every day. If you apply gratitude toward the top of the staircase, it will give you more focus and a will to reach the destination. Too many people will stop and rest or turn back at the onset of fear or workload. There can be many reasons people do not make it to the top. However, if you can allow yourself to appreciate how far you have come and not simply how much you have left, you will readily take more proactive steps forward and up the right path.

Though simply walking up a staircase toward your goal is simple, it will be challenging for many people to accomplish. That is why having a coach or mentor along for the journey will help you get there quicker and more confidently. I understand you might fear the unknown, but your life now is not worth the complacency. Comfort will keep you stuck and unsuccessful, but you can take the steps today to change your life.

Remember, changing your destiny is not an overnight process. It requires dedication, hard work, and a commitment to personal growth. As you climb the right staircase, you’ll encounter challenges, but with the right mindset and determination, you can reach the top to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. So, take that first step with us here at Reven Concepts and set your sights on a brighter future. Your destiny is in your hands.
